Call for Work-in-Progress Papers and Demos/Posters
Submission deadline for Work-in-Progress papers and demos/posters : 2 January 2018
IEEE Mobile Cloud 2018 will provide a great platform to allow researchers in academia and industry to share their latest research ideas and results, development activities, and the emerging industry technologies on mobile cloud computing, services, and engineering. The conference solicits original technical papers, not previously published and not currently under review for publication elsewhere.
We welcome Work-in-Progress (WiP) papers that describe original and unpublished research on the integration of mobile computing and cloud services and engineering. In addition, we also welcome demos and poster papers that present ongoing work in the related topics.
WiP and demo/poster papers are expected to present early or ongoing research activities. Novel approaches and preliminary results are especially appreciated.
Submission guidelines for WiP papers and demos/posters:
The length of WiP papers is limited to 6 pages, including figures, tables, and references. Up to 2 additional pages may be purchased with extra page fee upon the approval of the Program Chairs.
The length of poster/demo papers is limited to 4 pages in length, including figures, tables, and references.
NOTE: Authors should specify in the title whether they are submitting a WiP paper or demo/poster. For instance, the title of a WiP paper should appear as follows: “Work-in Progress: Paper’s Title” whereas a demo and poster paper should have a title “Demo: Paper’s Title” and “Short Paper: Paper’s Title”, respectively.
The submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by members of the IEEE Mobile Cloud 2018 Technical Program Committee. All selected papers will be orally presented in a related conference session. At least one author of each accepted paper must register and attend the conference to present the work. The accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to IEEE for inclusion in the Digital Library in IEEE Xplore.
Authors are requested to submit original, unpublished manuscripts in standard IEEE proceedings format in PDF. All submissions must be typeset in double-column IEEE format using 10pt fonts on US letter paper, with all fonts embedded. Submitted papers must include the contact information of all the authors. Please make sure you use the latest version of the templates to prepare your submissions. Due to the short interval between the notification of acceptance and the camera-ready deadline, we strongly encourage authors to follow the camera-ready formatting guidelines as close as possible.
The IEEE LaTeX and Microsoft Word templates for conferences can be found at IEEE Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings at
